just a question, is rise against considered hardcore?

Rise against are hard 2 classify.. They are sort a midpoint between emocore and metalcore. lol..then again since both genres split from hardcore the mid point would be hardcore right?

the band was formed from the remaining members of 88fingers louie if that helps.
