I'm personally a big fan of bands that use samples as intros.

well my band is metalcore and we put in samples from

willy wonka
scar face
Office space

such as we are playing a faster break down, and then everything stops and it says, "you die motherfucker!" and then goes back in to the breakdown, but slower.
