that does make me feel better. I should have gone. I also would have ended up coming home with several hundreds of dollars in records. and that would have been bad news.

they are fucking great. you should have seen this place when they played, it looked like a swarm of killer bees was attacking a jail break. when they played 'all in a year' my head just about exploded, myself and about 100 other kids were onstage in a fucking huge sing along pile-on. plus, i got the LP on posi#'s silk screened cover press #16/87... good shit.

my friend and i did a show here with them. they preached on stage about being healthy and not smoking and blah blah. then came back to the house and drank all my friend's beer. oh and they ditched out at staying at the house(which is big and has a lot of sleeping room) so that they could stay with a scene slut that one of them got with.

kinda left me with a bad taste.

I still have images burned in my mind form the Comeback Kid/Champion show. It was one of the best shows Ive been to, period. Champion played "The Truth" Right? I was the only kid at the show who knew the words so it was like a sing along solo.

dude you want to hear something wierd? ok good, when i was in junior high we had a band come to play in our gym, and the principle said that it was the most popular band in england and they wanted to do a little tour here. i thought who cares, like a really popular band would come to our school. it was take that. and i saw them live!!! it was so cool.
