yeah we got some lyrics, our influences are-- born from pain,goreotted, blood duster, dying feotus,freebase, knuckledust, hatebreed,blood for blood, TRC, 50 caliber,agrophobic nosebleed, servere torture,eviscerate a.d... basically sick brutal heavy shit! we are involved with bands'STAB YOUR FUCKING THROAT' and '8TH ANGEL' you can check them out on myspace.We're looking for a double bass pedal master, 2 brutal guitarists pref with gang vocal ability and a sick bassist who can play fast.

right, except I don't see how you could mix the two. it's like saying classical/death metal. the 2 have distinctly different styles that don't exactly complement each other, especially since the most distinctive trait is "singing" style.

with the possible exception of the first band, I wouldn't say the others have anything to do with hardcore at all. What are some bands you consider to be just hardcore bands then?

how about me, what? I'm not trying to argue with you, but simply pointing out you're trying to form a band to combine 2 styles of music that can't mix and honestly shouldn't. if you want to do a hardcore band, why wouldn't you do a hardcore band or do a death metal band instead?

i ment "how about you" in terms of ..so what bands do you like?
ok, maybe it was a mistake define what we're looking for as "hardcore/death metal" me and kev just spoke about this and he agrees that the band we are looking to form is a hardcore band with some death metal influences. Our personal (vocal) influences derive from 95% hardcore5% death metal and we think a death metal inspired drummer would sound. So i hope that clears up that particular 'slash' issue. we'll have to agree to disagree on the whole "can't be mixed" "shouldnt be mixed" thing! so who do you concider good hardcore bands?
