View Full Version : S.O.A. What if...
What if Dischord had the money to put out the SOA ep simultaniously with the Minor Threat ep? Do you think it would have made a bigger impact? in my opinion, maybe it would, because the music wasn't too different.
Or what if they decided to put the SOA ep out? That would have change everything. Maybe Rollins wouldn't left for Black Flag etc.

probably not because the record isn't as good and SOA didn't have the following or energy that minor threat did.

so what you're saying is that i shouldn't waste my money on them?
I can handle that, i'll just get Brandall to give me a few of the songs that i liked...

I'm saying you should at least listen to it enough to form an opinion.
probably not because the record isn't as good and SOA didn't have the following or energy that minor threat did.
not that good as minor threat, but then again minor threat is one of the best bands of all time. i guess you're right though, i don't know how many people were into them back then

we'll probably never get a decent reply or thought on this one, he had the time to answer.
actually, i love it how Hank made it big by doing his thing, and if somebody deserves to get big, it's him.

I agree I can't think of a more deserving person who has made such an impact on music as a whole through out so many years of thier life. By far the best spoken word artist and probably one of the better artists of his genre and era.
