i never understood someone liking a label. i like bands. even the best label can a have shitty band.

but if we're at it, bridge 9, livewire, dead and gone, rivalry records and thorp have some kickass bands.

i like trustkill, victory, pinky ring, nitro, ferret, seventh dagger, dead truth, and equal vision. they all have some really badass bands on them.

absolutely nothing. i just dont care that youre going to criticize me over the music i listen to. if you want to maybe recommend some labels with better bands, go ahead and i'll check them out. i just really dont have the time to sit here and bicker about things.

it's about the politics and business of the labels you're buying things from. it's not about the music you like.

but labels that aren't trying to kill hardcore, rivalry, think fast, thorp. livewire, lockin out.

I dont know about victory, they've gotten pretty lame with the exception of BTBAM but i think ferret has got some good bands on their roster. Facedown is pretty loaded, though ironically, im not normally a big fan of NIV.

Equal vision has some good stuff on theirs i.e. Bane, Alexisonfire but I know how Dusty feels about GCF and they are also on EV.

Oh well, no label can be perfect i suppose

Of course a label is gonna have a shitty band or two on it. But there are clearly favorites among the various labels out there. That's how I found out about bands when i was first getting into hardcore several years back. If i liked a band....i checked out their label to see what else was on it. Normally led to other stuff I liked.

Back in the day Victory had some sickk bands on it... Bad Brains, Shelter, Warzone, Skarhead, Earth Crisis... now all it has Ringworm, Path Of Resistance, With Honor and Comeback Kid... but thats only 4 outta' like 30 bands on there... Sinai Beach isnt to bad if you are into metalcore...
