the simplicity of those bands' lyrics really turn me off. dbd are great guys though, atleast the ones i speak to, so i do support that band. i guess i find their lyrics lack substances, but atleast they're doing their thing. even though it may sound exactly similar to other bands.

haha, youth medium!
actually, i got it at the first of two reunion shows i saw with them.
with mind eraser, righteous jams, fucked up. etc.
the second was even better. haymaker! the venue was completely trashed after, and people were actually lighting fireworks in the venue. people were looking for fire exits because if any of the equipment caught on fire, it would have went up in flames. however, no one got hurt except a few broken ankles my friend who broke his arm. so much fun. minus people throwing beer bottles in the air and people throwing tires at eachother ahahaha.

nice! i haven't seen any reviews or write ups about it in zines, online, etc. that's great though! and yeah, i'm very lucky since i live very far south in canada, a lot of shows that wouldn't normally cross the border come and play a couple canadian dates. if not i usually travel over the border if possible into new york, etc to see the good shows.
this summer = lifetime in buffalo and gorilla biscuits twice.
it's going to be amazing.
i am so lucky.
