Hi, questions about straight edge :)

I´m a guy, 19 years old, non drinker, non smoker, and no drug user at all, drug free in all respects. I have some questions about straight edge, i realy like the idea about straight edge, and i will be drug free the rest of my life, but can i call myself straight egde? i cant say i realy like the music, but i realy do like all the oppinions of straight edge without, tho i think its hard to follow up not eating meat. would it be hypocritic of me to call my self straight edge?

and i think its kinda hard to get friends, cause i dont drink or do any other drugs, so i wont get asked out in weekends and stuff, being straight edge stop me from going out with other people that are not straight edge?

i also wonder if i want an x tattoed on me sometime, considering all i´ve said untill now, would you say that its dumb of me to get the x tatoo? sinse i´m not a straight edge to "the edge"? i want it cause i stand by your way of life, tho its something i find hard to follow in my own life..

hey guy, well yeah, you cant call yourself straight edge if you are not into hardcore, because its a part of it, and its as important as the being drug free part.
meat eating is not a part of straight edge, because meat its not a drug.
if you are not sxe, dont call yourself sxe, you should be happy to be drug free and smart enough to know that drugs are bad and suck.
an X can mean a lot of things, if you want it to be a straight edge tatoo, yeah it would be kinda dumb to do it.

try listening to some more hardcore, im sure youll find something you like
