I can't understand, why when I ask people to don't smoke around me - they becomes angry on me, say that it's not my deal, that they can smoke everywhere where they want...
Is it any peaceful way to ask people to don't killing me with they're nicotine ? ...

Smoking is probably the one thing I hate more than anything else, because it effects everyone around the person smoking.

yeah same here....my dad smokes and everytime i wanna talk to him like one on one he always lights up and it makes me sick to my stomach...when he comes in from smoking he STINKS....his truck stinks (which he thinks he is gonna give it to me but i dont want it if it reeks of cigs) he doesnt even think to ask me if it bothers me...hmmm...

My Father smokes, too... In my room....in kitchen... in car.... and in case of my attempt to ask him no smoking His ages - main argument to ... hm... send me away in rude form... and it isn't important - that i want to eat or have a cup of tea :)

Smoking is the shitty thing of all, because it does effect the people around them. I hate how when place bans smoking, all the smokers get up in arms because they are having their "rights taken away" I guess they forget that their smoking takes away our rights not to be poisoned by 2nd had smoke.

I've never really found a way to make assholes not smoke around me though.

Smoking just seems so ridiculous, theres next to no pros for it and a million cons stacked against it.

Thats why I love where I live. Here in Ontario (it might be all over Canada but I am not sure) smoking has been banned from any indoor public spaces including bars and restaurants, so I never have to deal with the smoke. My dad smokes but ever since I was a little child he has always gone outside to have his cigarettes or when we are already outside he will walk away and stand by himself because he beleives that his bad habit should not effect anybody around him.
