whats the deal with Vinegar?

im not just on about White wine Vinegar and Red wine Vinegar... but whats peoples stance on Malt Vinegar and Spirit Vinegar? is it edge? or not? i really wanna no peoples views on this!

it's possible to get drunk off of it, but I'm pretty sure you'd get sick before you did. Because the amount that is used is so small I tend to look at it the same way I do soy sauce, vanilla extract and fruit juice. Yes there is alcohol in them, but it's so small that there is no point in avoiding it.

I didn't know vinegar had alcohol in it. I guess I never thought to look. If this is the case, how do you feel about mouth wash?

yeah. it's what happens when you leave something fermenting too long. Since you don't actually drink mouthwash, and if you did it would make you sick/blind I don't see it as an issue.

so it doesn't actually have alcohol in it until you let it ferment like apple juice than. Don't you think that your mouth would absorb some of the alcohol and some of it might go down your throat just from residue? I know this amount is minute but it is something I have been asked and not really looked into as in others opinions. I don't use mouth wash because the aftertaste is gross.

No, pretty much all fruit juice has alcohol in it. Alcohol is a reaction when you mix yeast and sugar, pretty much any liquid can ferment if you have those 2. I'm sure it does absorb some, but what's the point in worrying about it? Is it amount to change to your physiology? Is it enough to effect your body? Are you using it to get drunk?

it's not meant to be ingested. the alcohol in it will make you sick if you drink it.
