I actually take offense to people calling me "straight edge" because I don't do drugs and I listen to math and grindcore.

It happens all the time.

One day I'll be at a show just moshing and killing some emo kids, then someone offers me a huge hit of acid, or some angeldust...

I always say, "No way man, I'm drug-free."

Then they say "What kind of music do you like?"

And I respond, "Math. Grindcore."

And then the accusations start to fly.

"OMG! You are straight edge. Straight Edge kids are fucking pussies. Their all a bunch of egotistical conservative posers."

Then I say, "It's okay man, I'm not straight edge, I'm just drug free. I don't know if I listen to hardcore bands or not because no one seems to know what defines hardcore music, but I do know I listen to grindcore or math, so I'm not straight edge."

Then they usually say something like, "Oh, that's cool then, wanna hit of this angeldust?"

It really sucks when people don't really know what Straight Edge is.

I'm just a victim of a dirty label.

You straight edge faggots need to start educating people on what straight edge really is.

You can't just combine the two to resemble something else.
