I'm a little knew to sXe, and i know that you can't have random sex, but i was wondering if doing things with people are ok or not (like hand jobs and what not).

this illustrates that problem I have with including sex with the rest of straight edge. It's just not clear cut like everything else, and it's also something that everyone does. The idea of dating someone and only doing handshakes because it's not edge unless you're married to me is weird. I'm not saying people should sleep around, but I do think that people should be responsible with their sexuality and let the situation and the people involved dictate right and wrong. Otherwise you get caught up in denying yourself something that could be really good and healthy for you because it "goes against edge".

i think sex is ok as long as it means something and is with someone you deeply care about
