It's was June 13th. Haveheart at Logan Square in Chicago. Fuck was it amazing. Terror madball and 100 demons were eh but man did it feel great singing along to Haveheart. This old man still loves his crucial pile ons. It's so nice to break away from the stress and busy life and just go to a show.

I saw them earlier this year, their first UK show. It was a tiny room above a pub, filled way above capacity. The whole just went mad when they started. They're back in the UK in August, with Bane. I'm going to try and get to a couple of their shows.

This year has been good for shows so far. I've seen Parkway Drive, Carpathian, Have Heart, Caliban and I saw Me First And The Gimme Gimmes on Saturday. I've also got loads of shows coming up. Send More Paramedics, Bane and Have Heart, Gorilla Biscuits, Runier and Sinking Ships and apparantly Comeback Kid are over here in November with Parkway Drive and The Warriors.

New Comeback Kid record sucks. The new songs they play at the shows now are plain boring.
That's my subjective opinion I'm not going to argue with anyone who likes the new records. IMO the singer left the band and as a consequence it lost its originality. The recent record sounds like "yet another streamline post-hardcore album". It's not THAT bad but it's not really the band it used to be anymore. Sad. I miss that sound of Turn It Around or Wake The Dead.

Agree'd.

I listened to "Broadcasting" and was disappointed big time. It was like Comeback Kid had eaten Everytime I Die and spat them out and called it a record, seriously most of it sounds like ETID.

Turn It Around and Wake The Dead are good albums but there are hundreds of bands with better records out there that don't get half the recognition Comeback Kid did.

As for Have Heart, will be going to see them when they are touring with Bane in August, that should be an awesome show. But then again it's in Scotland so it probably won't.

I wish Have Heart would come to Australia :(.

As for Comeback Kid, I liked turn it around but I still thought there was far better stuff out around that time and I didn't really get why everyone thought they were amazing. Wake the Dead was alright but I grew tired of it easily and Broadcasting is terrible.

Saw Bane earlier this year and really they didnt put on a very good show, but then again I hate the Princess theatre it has the type of carpet you could defy gravity with.

I've caught Parkway Drive twice this year and they've been awesome both times. They should have a new record out before they are back as well.

Parkway Drive is amazing. "Killing With A Smile" is probably the only metal record I enjoy nowadays. I love it and I can't help it. Amazing album. Brutal (and I don't usually like brutality), powerful, uncensored lyrics, vocals charged with emotions, intense sound... hell I like it a lot.

Have Heart cancelled their gig here in Finland. It was rumored to be cause of not enough tickets sold, which is hard to belive. :(

Best show I saw this year so far was have heart sinking ships. Show was so good i drove to Orlando the next day to go see it the next day. Show in Atlanta was nuts. Kids jumping off of everything the could get on. More sing alongs then I can count. Kids just losing their minds the whole night.
