I know alot of people here seem to like old school hardcore more than newer stuff out there. But there is this band called xAFBx "Armed For Battle", which I really like. They just got robbed while on tour, and lost alot of their stuff. Seventh Dagger is selling this shirt of theirs to help donate money to them. Even if you don't like them, help them out, they are at least out their doing the right thing, spreading the message, being true, and representing what they believe.

Support a shitty band and label that promotes violence? I don't care if they got robbed, they are not out there spreading the right message at all. The message they spread leads to straight edge and hardcore looking like a complete joke.

I wouldn't put a penny into anything seventh dagger have to offer, its a shame they were robbed but they suck and spread a shitty message as are seventh dagger. Thanks but no thanks.

i meant on here, there is actually a pretty big fan base for them where i live. i can understand the hate, though.

It's not hate though. I personally just don't like the way they try to represent straight edge and I don't like their music. I don't "hate" them, I don't know the dudes in the band to hate them.

yeah, i figured that was the case. and it is understandable that that is why you don't like them. what do you think of a band like black my heart? they are very similar to xafbx, but different in some ways. i think the vocals are somewhat unique, and enjoyable, you probably won't like them, though.

Just a wonder, I'm not saying they do or don't, but where do you get the impression or see them promoting violence? And how does the message they send lead hardcore and straight edge to being a "joke"?

"kill your local drug dealer." No one takes anyone who wears these shirts seriously. Plus
kids who wear this shirt have no understanding the socio-economic complications involved with the whole drug industry and exactly what the statement "kill your local drug dealer" entails. They are idiots and most people recognize them as such. if they don't know any better, they may go to lump in other straight edge kids with the idiot wearing the "kill your local drug dealer" hoodie.
