What do you do with your wallet/keys/cell phone/glasses/hoodie/coat etc., in order to be able to mosh it up up front?

I usually bring a backpack, and put my stuff in it, and give it in to the cloak room. If there's no cloak room, and the show's at a smaller venue, I put my backpack on the stage, or underneath it, or ask people who have merch tables up if i could put it underneath their table.

Waist bags just don't do it for me, plus things in it are definitely not safe.

I can't think of other solutions.

I usually take as little as possible and I take the risk of keeping things in my pockets, but if I am driving or being driven can always leave stuff in the car or like you say if there is some sort of cloakroom then you can put stuff in there too.

i just bring my keys and some money on my pockets, the keys have a chain, so i wont lost that. nothing more because i dont use/have a wallet, cellphones are something i try to keep alive at least while it still feels new.

now a hoodie, i never take it off, if im gonna sweat, i just dont carry it, if its cold outside i bring the zip up hoodie, its not crucial, but works awesome.

when i went to sick of itall, a friend carried a couple of vinyls, poor guy ended up with them broken

Thats pretty much what I do. My keys are on a carabiner. and tucked into my back pocket off of that, so i never lose those. My wallet normally stays with me as well.

My phone, and any merch purchases go in my backpack which normally goes behind a bands merch table.

Bring as little as you need, or get someone you trust to hold it for you. I'm the one that usually ends up holding all the shit. Its less fun, but it works for some people that just stand around at shows and are nice enough to hold stuff for you. At least then you know everything is pretty much safe.

When I had a girlfriend I gave it to her. When my pops comes to shows(my dad loves hardcore also), I give it to him haha, don't get it wrong, its not like he HAS to come with me haha, I'am 20 yrs. old. He chooses to because he loves hardcore, and my dad is my best friend so yeah. Or I just end up not taking alot.

damn, that's weird.
I think if my dad was into hardcore there's a possible chance I never got into it myself.

My dad likes Bad Brains, Black Flag and even some 7 seconds but hes not much of a hardcore dude. I actually share a very similar taste in music to my parents except for my mum liking K.D Lang, Indigo Girls etc. (dyker bike stuff)

I don't mean this in any offensive way obviously, but its different for me and my dad, you gotta have the kind of relationship we do. Like I said were best friends, but its not like pops and son, haha, its like actual best friends, we can talk about anything, we do alot of fun ass shit together, and he raised me listening to metal, bands like Slayer, Pantera, and shit like that. And then I got into hardcore, and I showed him hardcore bands and shit, and now he loves it.

no offense taken, it's cool that you have such a good relationship with your dad, but I can't really relate.

I wear two pairs of shorts, and i put my phone, money, keys in the pockets of the first pair and put the second pair over them to assure that they dont fall out.

I have a strong durable phone so i dont really have to worry about it.

but if i had an iPhone i would never do that, lol

I used to give stuff to my then lame boyfriend, now lame ex, or chain everything onto my pants and then pin up the pockets to stop things falling out. That worked pretty well.
