I saw this swedish band called Another Year yesterday with semi-local heroes something against you, and others whom I missed because we had to get food.
Another year plays melodic hardcore, with melodic vocals, something similar to With Honor. They were great, energetic and all of the guys looked psyched to play. It was a great show.
Check them out on myspace, maybe they will tour near you!

Awesome band. I have the DING split but haven't listened to this band in a while, great stuff.

i know that i haven´t posted here in a while (like a long long time), but i still come in and check things out once in a while. this time i just had to write a response.
dini, another year is a really good band...i totally agree with you. and i played hardcore in school with one of the guitarplayers. he is a really nice guy, and very good guitarplayer, so im very glad that you liked them.
and is it ok to do some selfish promotion here also? if so i will respond with a link to the myspace of my band...

yeah, i´m alive...i´m very much alive.
i´ve kinda missed you guys, but i haven´t had time to hang out here in a long while...and probably wont have now either. school is pretty much taking up all my time, and the rest is spent with my girlfriend or trying to get together with the band..

thanx, even when i´m not here you will always have a place in my heart...it sounds kinda "fult" but it´s the truth. you guys did have a pretty meaningful role in my life back when i hanged out here..
maybe i´m going to try to make time to come here more often again...but then again summer is coming...

Unfortunately no, and it's a hell of a drive from Stockholm to Gavle.
You should do a road trip to which city is closer to you.

but you´re going to malmo also, right? i´m thinking that malmo might be the best place for me...but i don´t want to promise anything...it´s like 50 miles (the 10 km ones) to both stockholm and malmo, wich makes gavle even further away...and i dont have a car..
but i´ll absolutely look into it, and perhaps i can get my band or some other friends to tag along.

nah, the deal is, our drummer and I both organized shows, it just happens that he booked the swedish dates, and I couldn't remember if we played 2 or 3 shows there.
