I realise this doesn't really affect anybody here except for me, but I am pretty stoked so I thought I'd share.

The past couple of months have been SWEET for shows in Ontario. February I saw Sick of it All, Madball and Death before Dishonor. In May I saw Killswitch Engage (not hardcore, but one of my favourite bands) which was a sick show. Last Monday I saw Sick of it All again in Toronto (the only downside was that they opened for Rancid). And then on September 1st Terror and Death Before Dishonor are playing a show in Kingston pretty much across the street from my house. Kingston is usually Indie Rock central so I NEVER thought I would be able to see a hardcore show out there, so I am PUMPED for the Terror and DBD show. What a good year!

I am not really a Rancid fan. But I did stick around for their set because I figured that I may as well stay and watch. It wasn't a bad set overall but to me they just had no showmanship. They didn't really talk to the crowd at all, they basically just played.

cool for you dude!

one thing about soia-rancid. I know they are good friends, and rancid is bigger than soia now, but i still remember listening to a rancid rehearsal when they did a soia cover...weird.
