How do you feel about the more aggresive side of straightedge?

i remeber i use to be all aggressive and try to force straight edge on other people but i mellowed done alot i still try to encourage people to be edge but im not all arrogant and cocky anymore.

i never really was like that, im 14 and everyone around me dose drugs,, drinks smokes, or something else stupid so i kinda got used to it when i was little. im actually suprised i ended up straigt edge

forcing stuff at other people suck, i dont encourage people to do anything and never did, i do tell them what is hardcore about and straight edge and why i chose this way of being, but i dont encourage people to be anything, cause i think its something they have to come to terms by themselves.

but, on the perception thing, a kid around here that raped two or three girls had a big chest tatoo that said "Vegan Straight Edge" and the news paper classified straigt edge kids mainly as lettuce eaters, though there's no real bad perception of it down here, probably people just dont know.

Being British hardly anyone actually knows what straight edge is anyway and the violent culture comes from 'chavs' who often carry knives.
Also, people who don't drink are considered 'pussies' indeed, I proved that guy wrong by breaking his nose (haha joke).
