it used to just be a synonym for militant straight edge.

now it's sometimes used by retards to talk about the handful of racist "straight edge" kids mostly in russia.

Yeah, unfortunately this seems to be true since sometimes I spot people on Russian/Ukrainian forums who claim "Hate Edge" and are essentially nazis.
