i know everyone has different tolerances. but after smoking for 10 years and trying to quit about 4 times. my most successful attempt now is will power and going cold turkey.
its mostly occupying your mind on other things or physical activity to deter the mind from thinking about it.

i reckon that whole 'youth thing', that came from the early days as the sXe was a youth movement. youth of today, youth crew, crucial youth... etc etc it was just to help the youth have a sense of identity and social value and belonging. as during that time all there was the whole chaos/nihilist punk scene going on with so many kids being so self destructive.
the reference of youth these days is just in tradition and respect for the pioneers that have paved the way before us...

well anyway thats just my opinion on it...
