I think I have posted about them here before. They are a straight edge/vegan hardcore band. Pretty damn good and awesome.

They are from Philadelphia, and they are a real good fun band. One of my favorite bands.

Why does that matter if a girl sings in a band, or is even in a band. Shouldn't it be weather the band is good or not? Don't get me wrong I support girls in hardcore, but I don't support them anymore than I would a guy in hardcore. Supporting girls in hardcore and basically applauding them is still a way of making them an outcast in my eyes. Just treat a girl in hardcore just like you would anyone else.

Now you might say, "well there are alot of scene girls/sluts/etc. in the "scene"", but in reality, there are just as much "scene" dudes if you think about it,....tight jeans, hair in front of face, claiming bi-sexual for attention, etc.

I think Kingdom is an awesome band, the singer being a girl does not affect my opinion on their band what so ever. I would never like a band more, or less, pending on the sex of any member of a band.

By the way, I'm not coming at you at all haha, I just don't like hearing shit like "female-fronted hardcore". We would never say something like "male-fronted hardcore" or "homosexual-fronted hardcore" or "blackguy-fronted hardcore", see what I mean? To me, if the band is good, who gives a fuck the sex, race, etc. of the singer or any member of the band for that matter.

you got me wrong.. i have very similar opinion.. positive discrimination is still discrimination and i'm not using it often.. on the other hand... i like when i see a female-fronted, homosexual-fronted or blackguy-fronted band so i WOULD say that... it's about nothing else than the fact that i encourage any non-white non-male non-straight person to get involved in the scene.. i like diversity... and it doesn't matter if he/she sings or is just standing in the crowd and enjoying the music... nor if the band is musically really good as i'm always supporting a band that may be not the best band i've seen but has good lyrics.... so maybe i'm a hypocrite but i am supporting diversity in hardcore as much as i can,

Definitely, I'm not doubting your support of diversity in hardcore...I just don't think it needs to be outcasted or even said in a sense ya know. It's just when I see things like female-fronted hardcore, etc. it's just like someone is saying that as a promotional point, like I just don't think it even needs to be assessed. It should just...be. hardcore is hardcore, female-fronted, male-fronted is no difference in anyway...to me anyways. Female fronted hardcore could be classfied on its own because of the fact women sound different than men? Me saying "i really like female fronted harcore" would be based on the fact I like female vocalists.

I love Kingdom! But I Wrestled A Bear Once is horrible. I saw them at a show not too long ago and almost died. Yuck!

haha Yeah, that name alone is an attention getter. So obviously if their name is something of that sort, its pretty easy to assume that their whole general outlook and style of a band is of the same sort, attention getter's that is, which makes their music horrible and of lame sell out music type music.
