Resurgence?

Hi, I'm writing an article for my university paper about a straight edge UK resurgence... somewhat inspired by this article http://www.metro.co.uk/news/newsfocus/article.html?Straight_Edge_is_no_sex,_no_drugs,_ju st_rock_and_roll&in_article_id=741802&in_page_id=65

I'm not 100% if such a resurgence exists myself - surely the subculture has always been there and the mainstream media occasionally gives it attention but if anyone has any point towards a sXe resurgence I'd really grateful if they could link them?

Thats certainly not the greatest article. Resurgence...no, not really, scene has been pretty well established here for quite sometime.
