Okay, so my sister wants to be edge now, but she's got a question she's too scared to ask others. Does sniffing sharpies prevent you from being edge? I'm not sure why she sniffs em. She just says she likes the smell.

it's the same has huffing anything else. She's sniffing it to get high and honestly needs to look at the reasons why and the effects it's having on her.

it is good to give individual attention to questions, but this is a general thing in my opinion that can help with the whole "does this mean I can't be straight edge?" type of questions.

The answer is within you. there is this community of sxe people and maybe they will consider you sxe or not, but whatever. Straight edge is about not doing drugs and so forth, in a large part to help one's self. You in your mind know what straight edge means to you. and if you like these things and honestly view yourself as such then, to me, you or your sister are straight edge.

and maybe your definition is not in line with everyone else's but it is all about you, and your freedom to be something.

um i think you can't be edge and sniff sharpies,
that pretty much like getting high.

but without the acually drugs.
there's these stupid kids in my 4 hour who do it.

theres no way you can do it and be edge.

No, you can't. It's the same as most of the previous posters said.. It's just like a drug, and is for sure against edge.
