Trainee guy listened to my convo with someone and got to know i listen to hardcore. His eyes lit up, and he told me he likes hardcore as well, and his favourite bands are Korn, and Slipknot (not the revelations records one obviously)
He asked what hardcore bands do i listen to.

I told him I listen to Slayer.

he probably considers them as hardcore as well, so i wanted to tell him something harder to confuse him a bit.he clearly will see the difference between korn and slayer.

I once had a guy who was really excited about these new underground bands like Limp Bizkit gunning for my DJ job at club I worked at. He told the manager I didn't know anything and that they should drop me for him. Every one had a good laugh about that.

I think you should have grabbed your nuts and said "call the cops when you see 2pac" and casually walked away.

That's like the time a kid at work said that it was cool that they play "heavy stuff" like Disturbed on the radio at work.

Well, Disturbed is actually a "heavy stuff". Of course, it's not as heavy as hardcore punk or metalcore but I wouldn't call it a "light stuff". Compared to bands like I don't know Fightstar, 30 Seconds To Mars, even Creed and the like Disturbed sounds heavy. Especially to those frightened off by real heavy stuff such as metalcore, grindcore, hardcore punk, crust, etc. I'm just saying..
