Can't find a thread dang it

I've been trying to find a thread in which people talked about countries, their achievements and specifically I remember that xsecx posed a question, in response to a claim that US was overrated, essentially asking what inventions/achievements influenced the world as a whole and what countries were responsible for them.

Does anyone remember where that thread is?

Right, I'm absolutely positive it was you. The question you posed grabbed my attention and I've been mulling over it up to present days since then. I want to go over the whole conversation again but I just can't find the thread.
