A while back there was an attempt to get a craft sub forum, but the craft post floods didn't exactly happen, so starting a new thread since a full thread is better than an empty sub forum!

So hands up everybody and show us what you made/drew/created in general!!!

I've been wanting to learn to make my own fabric flowers for a while, and yesterday I decided to pick up some scraps and give it ago! Here's my first attempt at the things....

Just made it out of bits of lining fabric I had laying around, looking forward to picking up some nicer fabrics and seeing what happens with them!

I've become one of those people that thinks they're artsy because they use their camera on their iphone and different filters. does that count?

I've done little bits of crocheting, but nothing major lately.

That sounds awesome! you always take the best photos, it'd be neat to see what you're doing with video now!

While I guess it's not exactly artsy or craftsy, I did just finish rebuilding the engine on a 93 Ford Escort. My first attempt at an engine rebuild. Hit a few small bumps along the way but nothing major. I'm a bit more mechanically minded than artsy so that's more my thing.

Recently I've been sewing random little things. No big projects, but I made a cute little bag for all of my eyeliners (I have a ridiculous amount), and a little "this isn't a purse but a small bag I'm going to lug things around in" for a dude friend.

Girl, you would have been so disappointed in me. I was getting ready for a game last week and realized I didn't have any black eyeliner, only brown.

ha I only have black, but starting to think we should invest in some more exciting colors!

That might go beyond artsy! that certainly sounds like an achievement!

I have to admit, I may have gasped when I read this.

Ooo nice! I have to admit I'm a cateye liner kinda girl so I do like liquid liner when I can get it, but that amount of color may get me to cheat on my usual eye makeup look!

I can do cay eye with these, they're that good! They just have to be extra sharp, but they go on really well.
