I liked it a lot, except for the made up storyline that isn't in the book. I will explain in more detail when Dusty has seen it.

Regular digital, no 3D or 48fps. I enjoyed it so much I went a second time.

I saw it opening weekend and plan on seeing it next weekend with my in-laws. Good times.

I saw it in a regular set up. I generally avoid 3D movies. Though the effects are pretty fantastic so it might be cool to see in 3D.

I need to find a normal person who saw it in the high fps and 3d. All the movie geeks went nuts about it.

In some cities we can choose, regular digital or 3D 48frames. I heard that the geeks complained about the quality being so good you could see what is make-up and what isn't, stuff like that.

I saw it in 3D 48 frames. It is the first time I've been able to watch a 3D movie without getting a headache. I actually forgot it was 3D a few times - beautifully done.

ok awesome. that's what I was waiting to hear. I'll hopefully see it early next week. I hate going to movies on weekends or nights, so I'll call in sick next week and see it hopefully.

Finally saw it. it was worth it for watching it in HFR. It was mindblowing how realistic everything looks.

I've done some reading, and I kind of wish I had the option to see it in HFR here.

i saw it last night in spiffymode and it was pretty cool, i dont know if that's the framerate or the 3d, but at first every character seemed to be moving weirdly fast. or maybe it was a problem with my theater. what i can say is that i'm glad i speak english, cause i had problems watching the movie and reading the subtitles at the same time, maybe some sort of focusing problem in 3d?

Yep, we also had subtitles for Azog and the other orcs. When I watch a hd or bluray movie at my girlfriend's place on their full hd tv, I really get annoyed by that "moving too fast" problem. It's like every movement is too smooth or something.
