i've been catching up on breaking bad, and by catching up i mean watching every season, since last month and i've been loving it.
i also have been re-watching the venture bros, while i wait for a new season.

since i dont watch that many tv shows besides scrubs and old simpsons episodes, is there something i might have been missing out? like something really good? community doesnt seem to be what it used to be and i may need to fill that void.

i'm not entirely sure, but it stopped making me laugh. first three episodes weren't funny at all. the rest of them have had their moments and the one with the germans was ace. but i havent seen the latest one.

I am really into Cougar Town. It is pretty hilarious. I also really like Person of Interest. courtney cox looks like skeletor and therefore far too terrifying to watch.

Who would be Beastman, then? I'd have to watch the show to find out, and that's not happening.

I LOVE the Gilmore Girls. I've seen the entire series a minimum of 10 times through. <--Not kidding, I just quoted the series last night in a dinner conversation. I have yet to find anything that can fill that void.

We're watching: Suburgatory, The Following, Cult, Parks and Recreation, Community, New Girl, The Middle, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, The Mindy Project, Raising Hope, How I Met Your Mother, I finally got caught up on Game of Thrones, and we're still hanging in there with The Office. We mostly like to laugh while we do the laundry and dishes on the weekends.

you either have no soul or don't get jokes because you're a dirty foreigner in a strange land on the wrong side of the world.

I didn't know there was a difference between college and community college!

one is real school and the other is basically high school that anyone can attend.

What kind of degree do you get in community college? Not a bachelor's probably?

What kind of degree do you get in community college? Not a bachelor's probably?no, it's called an associates, but they basically take the first 2 years of classes that you would at a university and then transfer so it makes going to a university way cheaper.

It looks really interesting, is it funny or a drama or both?

CarlaRant

It's a drama with humorous bits - dry and sarcastic. There's quite a cast. Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Jason Biggs, and Natasha Lyonee play some of the main characters.

Finally watched The Office. I like it!

Are you watching the American version, or the British one?

Lifestyle_X

I watched every season of the US version, and now finished the first season of UK Office.
I remember you guys were talking about UK and US Office a long time ago, what were your opinions again?

Anonymous Ghost

I LOVE THE OFFICE!! Both versions are great, the only problem some people have with them is that they tend to compare which one is better, instead of realizing British have different kind of humor and although the US characters are based on the UK's, they don't have the same personalities. i.e. Steve Carell once said he didn't even watch the first episode completely because he was too afraid he would start impersonating Ricky Gervais. Even though the first season of The Office US are basically the same stories, you need to watch each version as if you were actually seeing a completely different show if you really want to enjoy them.

That's why I started with the US version.

Do you guys always watch an episode immediately when it comes out, or do you wait for the whole season?

I'm in desperate need of some good shows I haven't seen yet. I tried Justified but after 15 minutes I just gave up.

i have to download it, but i forgot community was starting last week. with regular tvshows i download the whole season when it's over, but with community or southpark i usually watch it just a couple of days after.

i watched a the whole 4 first seasons of parks and recreation on netflix and i loved it. i'd watch em again and again. but now i'm starting with Arrested Development, to see why it's so funny

A friend is trying to get me into Breaking Bad, but it's way too fast paced for me. Or is that just the pilot?

(Edit: I love Parks and Rec, but I haven't watched the last two seasons yet.)
