I'm from Jacksonville Florida (Atlanta now)

I've been getting into shit like Will Oldham/Bonnie Prince Billy, Mark Kozelek/Sun Kil Moon, and Devendra Banhart. Also gypsy punk like Gogol Bordello and Psalters are starting to catch my attention but that's not serious just yet.

I think the last "record" I had was like winnie the pooh sing along or some shit. I haven't ever owned a record player or bought any vinyl. Not cool enough. Last CD I bought was Rob Crow from Pinback's solo CD.

Pile ons and Sing Alongs foSHAW! It's all posi and unity and brotherhood and shit. Hell yeah.

I'm not a big hardcore kid, but I'd love to go see Ten Yard Fight one of these days. Minor threat just because they're fuckin Minor Threat and Ian Mackaye was doing emo shit by the time I was old enough to recognize what music was. Casey Jones is from my home town so I gotta represent there.

Does Sage Francis count? He's edge. Got skillz.

I came here neither because I'm edge or hardcore, but just because I THOUGHT I was both when I was like 14 and Sec used to school me in arguments over at Straightedge.com. Crazy ass board was where I learned how to question reality and authority and all kinds of shit. Much love for anyone who was there givin' me a hard time.
